The project
AXSOL is growing fast and wants to make better use of its expertise in two directions: to preserve it inside the company and to make it available outside, at scale.
Zeitgeist Labs is building a knowledge infrastructure that draws out complex expert knowledge systematically. Inside the company, structured expert conversations with employees capture what they know from experience and have never written down. The system understands the technical context and can go deeper on demanding topics. The Intelligence Dashboard structures this knowledge and keeps it usable for new questions, strategies and decisions.
The same expertise is made available outside the company, also in conversation. Some 800 municipal utilities, for example, can each explore what AXSOL knows about its technologies and how they can be used, ask their own questions and bring in their own situation. Zeitgeist Labs helps AXSOL do more than document knowledge. It puts that knowledge where it is needed, inside the company and beyond it.
We are growing fast, and a great deal of critical knowledge about our systems sits in the heads of a few people. Zeitgeist Labs’ technology holds expert conversations with our employees at a high level, understands the technical context and keeps that knowledge usable. We also use it externally, for example with some 800 municipal utilities, each of which can find out about AXSOL and our solutions in its own way. Zeitgeist Labs helps us make better use of our expertise internally and share it far more widely outside the company.
